Abstract:
AIQLAB is a platform and initiative dedicated to advance the development and understanding of quantum technologies. It provides a collaborative environment for sharing knowledge and conducting experiments in areas such as quantum computing, communication, and emulation. In this seminar, I will be presenting AIQLAB's QUBIT -- the first of its kind FPGA-based physical emulator of quantum states. I will showcase what makes QUBIT unique, how to operate it and its features for users to do quantum computing experiments. Through QUBIT, the fundamental principles of quantum computing are accessible in a hands-on way. More details on the QUBIT emulator can be found at: https://aiqlab.pl/qubit-fpga.
BIO:
Konrad Łącki is an undergraduate studying Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics at Warsaw University of Technology. He has been a member of QPoland for over 2.5 years, working on their monthly newsletter and helping in organizing and mentoring quantum programming workshops. Konrad is passionate about quantum engineering, hoping to specialize in quantum sensing while also contributing to the development of quantum computers and quantum technologies in medicine. Konrad had the opportunity to work with SONOVERO R&D on their trapped-ion quantum computer under the MIKOK project. He shared his work at the Young Scientist's Symposium 2024 on data acquisition and control of lasers on the architecture. More recently, he has been helping AIQLAB in educating on quantum technologies through interactive workshops with their FPGA-based QUBIT emulator for quantum computations. He pursues his passions by undertaking research projects on quantum technologies and attending conferences on quantum computing and engineering.
The meeting is organized by the Fundacja Quantum AI and QPoland.
